Activision's 'World Series of Poker' Allows Wireless Play on PSP Through Game Spy

Activision's "World Series of Poker" for Playstation PSP has become a pioneer in video game technology. Game Spy and Activision have allied together to provide players with "WSOP" on their hand-held gaming devices. These can be connected and played with other players around the world. This is PSP's first game that is using Game Spy Technology. Cardplayer.com reports:

Players have the option to create profiles or play anonymously, choose betting limits and skill levels, or create private tables for their friends. Game Spy is owned by IGN Entertainment, a unit of Fox Interactive Media Inc.

New Video Poker Machines Offer Three Themes

Machine manufacturer International Gaming Technology ("IGT") has created a new game with multiple themes in response to people's demands for new versions of video poker. The new game has three themes of Five Play, Triple Play and Ten Play Multi-Hand Poker. Harnesslink.com reports:

Last week Mighty M Gaming at Monticello Raceway became one of two gaming facilities in New York to offer three new video poker games on one machine. "We have installed several versions of video poker machines during the last year, but the demand for a larger variety of the games continues to be significant," said Chris Palmer, director of VGMs at Mighty M Gaming.
