Doubts Over Campaign Contributions Tied to Video Poker
State Election officials have called many witnesses, liars even as the first day of hearings in the campaign contributions tied to video poker; began. Prompted by a complaint from the Democracy North Carolina, alleging a number of campaign law violations by donors, tied to video poker; the boards began its hearing. Charlotte.com reports:
Last month the board held hearings at which optometrists from across the state outlined a system of collecting checks with the "payee" line blank. Someone from the optometrists' political action committee or, in three instances, Black, filled out the check to a particular candidate.
